Hogla is the local name for a tiny bush like plant that is widespread along the banks of rivers and canals in Bangladesh. The plant looks like grass and grows two to five meters long. Dried Hogla leaf is extensively used in mats, ropes and baskets.
Neutral colored basket set that will match any decor. Baskets are hand woven with hogla rope in tight and loose fashion to bring texture. Baskets measures 10", 11", 12" in height and, 12", 13", 14" in diameter. Baskets have cut outs for handles. This is a handcrafted item, so products may vary slightly in color and craft.
