Kaisa is a sturdy wild grass that grows along the riverbanks in Bangladesh. When kaisa grass is dried, it changes color from natural light green to tan. The dried kaisa grass is woven to make baskets. These baskets are made by wrapping color dyed palm leaf around dried kaisa grass.
This is a set of small, medium and large colorful kaisa grass baskets with lids. These baskets are stackable and can also be nested for easy storage. Baskets have fitted lids and cutout handholds for easy moving. Small basket measures 12" in height and 15" in diameter, medium basket measures 14" in height and 17" in diameter and large basket measures 15" in height and 20" in diameter.
